Read by Wont Review #9

These are the books I read and won’t be reviewing anytime soon.
(not because they weren’t good, just because)
Mostly they are shorter novels or short stories.

challenge REVIEW, Haunted Heart by Tania Donald

Okay, so again, it’s the end of the month and yet another one that I’m not going to be reading the book. It just seems that I shouldn’t have bothered, and those books are neglected because I’m just not interested, right?
Still, it’s that time, and I can’t let it go by without showing you what I should have read....

The Oldest Book on the Shelf Challenge
Hosted by Hell & Purgatory Book Reviews
It’s not a must and is all about reading this books you never got around to reading, in, like, forever and so....

‘Intoxicated as I am by my love for him, I am also afraid...What wickedness lurks within me, struggling to emerge?’

1838: In a quiet, English village, eighteen-year-old Eloise Morton yearns to experience love. The arrival of a handsome and aristocratic stranger fills her with hope, but their romantic courtship quickly descends into a maze of psychological games and strange, erotic encounters.

Eloise finds herself suddenly alone, and transformed in ways that she cannot understand. But what has she become? Are the dark appetites that now compel her human, or otherwise? Is she victim, predator—or both? Eloise sets off on a perilous journey to the other side of the world to reunite with the man haunts her heart—and to discover the shocking truth about herself.

Secy, dark and thrilling. Haunted Heart is a breathtaking gothic novel about losing oneself to the heart’s darkest desires.

A Great Find, A Late Re-Showing

I say this mostly because it came out of this week’s Cover Art Coverage
and, well, I already had two post on the day that I found it, and felt this was better timing--on my part.

Without further ado
I give you a great ass cover, so good, in my eyes, that I just had to show it off myself.

Pulse by Patrick Carman
(Pulse #1)
Expected Publication: 26th of February 2013 by Katherine Tegan Books
YA

From New York Times bestselling author Patrick Carman, a teen fantasy-adventure of epic proportions. In 2051, some teens have a “pulse,” the power to move objects with their minds. Compulsively readable, with thrilling action scenes and a tender love story.

The year is 2051, and the world is still recognizable. With the help of her mysterious classmate Dylan Gilmore, Faith Daniels discovers that she can move objects with her mind. This telekinetic ability is called a “pulse,” and Dylan has the talent, too.

In riveting action scenes, Faith demonstrates her ability to use her pulse against a group of telekinesis masters so powerful they will flatten their enemies by uprooting street lights, moving boulders, and changing the course of a hurtling hammer so that it becomes a deadly weapon. But even with great talent, the mind—and the heart—can be difficult to control. If Faith wants to join forces with Dylan and save the world, she’ll have to harness the power of both.

Patrick Carman’s Pulse trilogy is a stunning, action-filled triumph about the power of the mind—and the power of love

Yeah, I’m at a point, in my mesmerizement of this cover that if it were on sale now, I would be tempted to go out and get it, just so I can have the thing on my shelf.
I honestly can't wait to see what the next tow covers will be like (as long as they don't stamp is as generic)
